Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Services

Dr. Cool AC & Heating provides HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services, as well as appliance repair services in Gainesville, Florida and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Air conditioning repair and installation
• Heating system repair and installation
• Preventive maintenance
• Indoor air quality solutions
• Appliance repair
• Emergency services

Licensing & Insurance

Dr. Cool AC & Heating is a licensed HVAC contractor in the State of Florida (License #CAC1824166). We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees.

Service Estimates & Pricing

• All estimates are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• Final pricing may vary if additional work is required or conditions differ from the initial assessment.
• Any additional work will be discussed and approved by the customer before proceeding.
• Diagnostic fees may apply and will be disclosed before the service visit.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made.
• We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
• Financing options may be available for qualified customers.
• A deposit may be required for large installations or equipment orders.
• Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.

Warranty

Our workmanship warranty covers labor for repairs and installations:

• Repairs: 90-day labor warranty
• Installations: 1-year labor warranty
• Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product
• Warranty is void if equipment is modified or serviced by unauthorized personnel

Cancellation Policy

• Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• No-shows for scheduled appointments may be charged a service call fee.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information about equipment and service needs
• Ensure safe and clear access to equipment for our technicians
• Secure pets during service visits
• Be present or have an authorized adult present during service
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturer recommendations

Limitation of Liability

Dr. Cool AC & Heating's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to property beyond the equipment being serviced.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Alachua County, Florida, in accordance with Florida law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
